design for Decomposition is the MA dissertation project of brandon leNoir, a furniture and lighting designer from new york. this project is the culmination of the design for change program at the university of edinburgh.

the concept of d/D is underpinned by the circular economy and looks to provide pragmatic, functional detail that many critics say the circular economy lacks. the methodology is meant to be expanded, most likely through further phd level research.
